Jimmy Johnstone film
We are delighted to announce that we are in production with a new project, a documentary film about the sensational football talent, Jimmy Johnstone.
The film, about the life of the man who won the European Cup in 1967 and was voted Celtic Football Club's greatest ever player in 2002, will be broadcast on BBC ALBA in autumn 2016. Jimmy Johnstone died in 2006, six years after his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease. He was just 61 years old.
The film will be presented by Alex O'Henley and written, produced and directed by Margot McCuaig, the same team responsible for the RTS Scotland award-winning Jock Stein.
Throughout the production process we'll be posting about the film's progress on our Facebook and Twitter channels. We hope you enjoy sharing what promises to be a remarkable journey.
